Henry IV - GRADS Theatre Company

Several years after overthrowing the deeply unpopular Richard II, Henry IV is facing a troubled kingdom. With war in Scotland and revolt in Wales, Henry now finds himself facing down violent rebellion from the very men who bought him to power in the first place. As well as his political worries, Henry’s son and heir, Prince Hal, is whiling away his days with the witty, thieving knight Sir John Falstaff. Meanwhile, the formidable knight Hotspur, her calculating uncle the Earl of Worcester, and their allies are plotting rebellion against a king they believe is a threat to their very lives. This is a new adaptation that combines both parts of Henry IV into one exciting play.
