Radium Girls is a play based on the true story of female factory workers poisoned by radium paint in the 1920s. The women, encouraged to shape their paintbrushes with their lips, develop serious health problems. The company tries to cover up the issue, but the women eventually fight for justice and win settlements. The play explores themes of corporate greed, the dangers of unregulated science, and the fight for workers' rights.
