Set in 1990, it follows Jon, a struggling composer approaching his 30th birthday, grappling with his dreams of writing the next great American musical.

As he faces mounting pressure from his girlfriend Susan, who wants to settle down, and his best friend Michael, who has traded artisitic ambition for financial stability, Jon questions whether pursuing his passion is worth the sacrifices.

Through witty songs and heartfelt monologues, Tick, Tick... Boom! explores themes of love, friendship, ambition, and the fear of running out of time. It's a poignant celebbration of creativity and the perserverance required to follow one's dreams.
